CPS House is a two storey house located in Thessaloniki’s suburbs, designed for a family of three. The design approach was to blend seamlessly the contemporary design with classic elements and provide an eclectic yet functional environment for the owners. The interior of the house is characterized by the use of marble, which is prominently featured in the interior staircase that is surrounded by a volume of black wood cladding, creating a striking contrast, as well as in the kitchen. Gypsum moldings on the ceilings and walls add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space.
The house features an open-plan kitchen with an island made of white marble, and a minimal sink with a floating shelf. The black wooden box encloses the WC and laundry room, and the cladding expands in height on the interior staircase throughout all levels.
The main bathroom of the house features a marble sink and shower, creating a spa-like ambiance. The master bedroom is connected to a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, creating a private space for the couple. The black cladding is repeated in the bedroom, combined with linen fabrics and earthy tones, to create an elegant and calm space. The en-suite bathroom was designed in more open-toned colors and features a double sink. The kids’ room is characterized by its pink sheepskin and zungle wallpaper.
